Parents' Prayers, A Wish Granted

"Why did this happen to Me? What wrong did I do that I have to deal with this? Will this continue forever? Will my boss keep using me like his personal servant all his life!? Will people keep calling me with Anti-Nationalist and Racist Slurs for no reason? Will I ever work at a place that I've always dreamt of working?" With a tear in my eye, I just sat there in the broken corner seat of the public bus asking all these questions to myself. I was supposed to be on bed rest because I have been suffering jaundice and was physically weak, but I was called for work by my boss because of shortage of Men. I had to extend three hours for which I was not going to get paid. Above all, I had to bear with his abusive behavior for being slower than usual although he was aware of my condition. I went home and spoke to my Mom and Dad about what was happening, and they asked me to leave the job right away. "But I have no other option!? If I leave this job, then I have nothing el...

From the Day the world came into existence, people debate on the fact “Do Ghosts really Exist? Is paranormal really a thing? Is there a supernatural world hidden from us?” Parties from both the ends have always made compelling arguments. You'll be forced to believe what people say. So many movies have been made about hauntings theories and paranormal phenomenon. T ake a walk around the neighborhood, you'll come across places that people say have been unvisited since a long time. These places usually have spooky and mysterious stories LURKing in the background with it. This , once again, brings me to the question that I had mentioned  above and that is "Do ghosts exist?" I do h ave had my experiences which makes me believe the fact that "If there is God then there’s also Evil." Going by the Indian Hindu mythology, if there’s an unnatural and untimely death somewhere and no last rites have been performed on the deceased then there will be supernatural prese...

The Last Conversation

It was somewhere around 2AM in the Night and I was in a deep sleep when my phone rang. I looked at it and it was Bonnie . She never calls this late until its way too urgent.  “Yeah Bon Bon!” I answered the call. “It's about Rose. She might be gone anytime. It’s about time you should see her.” Said Bonnie as I can feel she was sobbing heavily. “I’ll be there in a while.” I said and hung up the call. I sprung out of my bed, got ready and left for the hospital. I had flashbacks while I was on my way to see her. I still remember how we two met 5 years back at my workplace and how the romance bloomed between us. Everyone loved being around this happy go lucky girl. She had a fascination for tattoos and bikes. So, whenever we used to hang out together, she was the one who used to ride my bike while I used to be the pillion rider. Apart from that she had all sorts of tattoos on her hand. She had some deep meaningful experiences LURKing behind those inks. We dated for about 6 m...
